I absolutely agree with Ryan! Yes, this kit is from 1975, but it is an outstanding value for the money. This kit has plenty of parts and builds into a beautiful finished product. The vehicle is so neat and unique. The figures are really not that bad. They can paint up really nice and since they are seated, they don’t seem so stubby. It is a straightforward build and the steps are logical. The engineering is superb. The rubber band tracks can’t be tensioned to take up the slack. Tip: don’t glue the tracks to the top-center roller. Tie it down with fine wire. It doesn’t completely solve the ‘slack’ issue, but it helps. Get one. You will enjoy it.

This was my 3rd Half track WWII vehicle build. Once I got started building it, it was very hard to stop working it. I took a 4 hours to build the multi-gun turret and I still feel I could have done a better job. I am really glad I saved this one as my third build. I enjoyed putting it together. All the parts were engineer extremely well. My plan is to do another just as soon as they come off back order. You will be pleased by purchasing model.

Always wanted to build the Halftrack with the Quad .50. Good details, some nice accessories and everything fit together as Tamiya intended. I don't do weathering or battle damage, just out of the box. I didn't complete the figures either. My skills are decent but I don't have an airbrush and I think the figures would just look cartoonist or toy-like so I stick to the vehicles. A really enjoyable build.

I thoroughly enjoyed this build it has great details and gives the option of leaving all the armored panels in the open or closed position. It’s typical Tamiya meaning no headaches and everything goes together as it should. The end product is a mean looking beast that will look great in your collection.

I enjoyed this kit very much. Tamiya is an excellent choice, for realism it’s spot on. It comes with figures, which I like. Also take your time, the instructions are very helpful. I had no problem with it , and I recommend this model for anyone. Thumbs up John

Directions are somewhat easy to follow. Detailed parts. I wished that had put the figure in the gunner's seat before gluing his gun control stick.
