Package/Packing Conditions
There will be much more pictures to come. First off if your looking for excellent paints for your models Tamiya is the way to go! The color pigments are bold it goes on very smooth and usually with one coat. This particular package I ordered had about 70 bottles of different colors. Hobbylinc goes the extra mile to really make sure these bottles are wrapped and sorted in a way that it's almost impossible to receive broken bottles. Fabulous job Hobbylinc!
Great top coat
I've used it for a top coat and it done great. I'll be ordering more soon. Thin it about 2:1 or a hair thinner. It's your preference. Just wished it was in a bigger bottle. I watched a video where a guy mixed the whole bottle at once and said no problem with it sitting up for awhile. Going to try it
Acrylic Mini XF86 Flat Clear 10ml Bottle
I really like the Tamiya XF86 Clear Flat Paint. It is a perfect overcoat, goes down very smooth and is very flat. Great for hiding the gloss from decals. Make sure they are dry first. I always keep a couple bottles on hand for projects. I just wish it was in the larger bottle.
Best model paint by far
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Great Stuff
I use this on every model and it works great, just wish they sold it in the larger bottles. But, to remedy the small supply 1 drop of this to 4 drops of pledge revive it and it flattens just fine. Helps conserve the Flat Clear that only comes in the tiny bottles.
Good acrylic flat
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first. Works best thru airbrush. Inconsistent sheen when brushed
Nead clear flat and no hassles?
Tamiya paints are consistently top notch airbrush choices, Be very careful to use compatible thinners and you will spray with confidence. I used this as a surface color, not as a building/sand-able primer.
useful
I find this very useful to take the shine out of some colors, or to make my own flat colors for things I can't find easily in flat, like Tamiya orange.
Fantastic product, easy to use
I use this flat clear as top coat for my models. It's very easy to thin down and spray through an airbrush, just adding a few drops of water will do.
Nice flat clear
Use this on my model cars to give it a flat lok like 90% of the NASCAR cars are these days.
Great for sealing military aircraft
Great in the airbrush. I spray this on as a seal before I weather my military aircraft
Perfect coat
I use this tamiya semi gloss for armor and gundam projects. Buy some it's on sale
Provides a nice flat finish
Can be used on paints that a bit too shiny to toned them down.
