Great glue for heavy bonding
This is an ideal glue for those heavy bonding. I would NOT suggest using this glue for small parts or anything with clear plastic parts. This glue works by slightly melting the plastic and creating a strong bond when completely dried (usually 24 hours). The downside is that it can have a “string or web” side effect since the gel glue can “stretch” when applied. Although liquid glue such as Tamiya or Testors works well with small parts, it does not have a gel factor that creates a stronger adhesion. I would recommend purchasing a variety of glue for different model parts. Testors, Clear Parts Cement 1 oz Carded (Product Number: TES3515CT) for those clear parts, Testors Liq Cement Applicator 1 oz Carded (Product Number: TES3507AT) or Tamiya plastic Cement 20 ml (Product Number: TAM87012) for small parts (engines, cockpits, etc.). Please note that the Testors Liq glue has a nozzle which makes it easier to apply rather than a brush which can get sloppy.
Good As New

It is good to have this reliable product. I get a quick grab from this cement. It dispenses a small amount of cement where I want it. I have used it so far for helmets, that is cementing them on heads or in hands as carried. I have used it on the bottom of boots to cement soldiers standing/marching upright.
From memory and use today, this is a good product. I use it or the other cements, very thin or normal. If the tube is squeezed it will dispense cement for a while. I hold the tube in my palm and slowly twist as I take it off or replace it. It can be a little stringy so beware of this drawback. I need another tube so I will not run out in these trying times
Old School Model Glue
This has been around for years, have used this glue when I First started building models back in the late 60's / 70's. Dries in two hours cures overnight, use in well vented area as it has harsh chemical smell, is both flammable and poison. Hard to remove from skin, can use nail polish remover and wash hands well with warm water/soap. Will fog clear plastic parts, use care when gluing clear parts. Will remove paint from model so you will have to touch up after it dries. For all it's draw backs still a great model glue, just use with care and don't get in a rush to finish, also best to use on inside parts where it won't be seen.
Old school glue, still gets used in places

What model builder isn't familiar with this stuff? Very hot, and provides a nice strong joint if used correctly. Because it's a gel, some skill is required applying it so you don't end up with a mess. I only use it on major joints that will get filler and/or sanding. Because it's so hot, you can soften up a joint, press together with force, and (after scraping or sanding) eliminate gaps. Does have the ever present problem with metal foil tube glues of a very light squeeze results in too much glue. Only looses one star because there are easier glues to use. I'd like to see this stuff in sold in a jar.
It’s a classic, but has been improved on for sure.

I only use this when absolutely necessary. And those times are only when I have no anticipation that I will ever need to pull a joint apart again. The main problem experience is that if you squeeze the tube too much, it ejects so much glue that you end up wasting it and/or you end up with it in places you didn’t want it! There are simply much better Products out there.
That toxic glue smell sure does take me back to my old days of model-making though!
Cement the Buildings Together
I use this to cement together all my plastic buildings. It holds the joints in place very well. The cement sets in about 20 seconds, and is fully dry in about 2 hours. However, I think it would be hard to apply without Testors Disposable Gluing Tips, Hobbylinc #TES8805. The only negative is that if you apply too much pressure on the tube, cement will come out for 1-2 minutes straight. Over all, a very good item.
Average Glue
The pros of this glue are: is cheap, it has a good amount of glue, it's durable. Cons: Its very thick, is not very strong with small quantities, is a mess for removal, it does no has a detail dispensator, it dries slow, sometimes it drops a lot of glue. This glue does the job for large areas but is terrible for detailed and very small parts. I recommend a liquid glue instead of this glue for a more easy application.
testors Model cement

I started building car models as a teenager and used this ventilation is required in tight areas but the right use I get good results . A method I use for buildings in N scale is a piece of glass a friend gave me for straight seams I run a line on the glass and can use the glass to dab excess off before adjoining to the next piece I have tried the other glues but I prefer Testors product for most plastics.
Testors cement
I built models when I was a child but then was to busy working and raising my family. I now have enough time to start again. This is the glue I used 30 - 40 years ago, so I ordered it again. I forgot about all the glue threads that are made using tooth picks to place the glue where you want it. So I have ordered some glue from Tamiya that has a brush in the cap. I've been told it will not make those threads.
An old favorite.

This stuff is the same as I remember it from the 80s. Sure, it can be a mess. Sometimes you get a little more than you want from a squeeze. Careful application mitigates most of that. I learned a long time ago not to squeeze the tube anywhere near my model. I've always used a toothpick or something similar to apply it. It's my main cement and I rarely have any trouble with it.
this is the must-have blob glue
This is one of four glues that I always have on my workbench; the other three being Testors liquid cement, Superglue of any type and Elmers white glue. That's all you need. AND big plus, this stuff will last for years (seriously). Tip: DO NOT squeeze hard on the tube though. You don't need much, but once you do that - a lot will come out before the tube equalizes.
Great Cement
By: hertzing97
This cement is a good cement for NON-DETAIL gluing. it's still a bit too thick for fine pieces and will glob up on you otherwise. For gluing large surface area pieces together, it works amazing. For finer detail things, I prefer to use something liquidy, Like PlastiWeld, or Tamiya Extra Thin Cement. It's a bit more expensive, but it lasts you a great deal of time.
Great for beginners!
Used this on my first model kit and will say that this is a great cement to use for beginners. Although it is not up to par with the ones that come in jars as it is a bit hard to control the amount of cement. However, I would definitely recommend this to any beginners looking to get into building model kits as it sticks quickly and bonds good. Great price too!
Great product
The key to this giving a strong, long lasting bond is to make sure you are bonding 2 clean, bare surfaces. Scrape paint or chrome plating in the exact spot you are applying glue and use sparingly. The available applicator tips are a big help, amd if you just stick a pin or safety pin in ad a plug you should be able to use one tip for a whole tube of glue.
I keep it on hand
By: hughes1945
I use this in my projects all the time. Sometimes with a delicate part, I will use a tip of a pointed tootpick or straight pin to apply. Sometimes the glue will harden slightly at the tubes tip. Finess must be used to get the glue flowing again. Overal it is a good product that, with care, will serve your needs well.
Plastic Cement Tube 5/8 oz.
By: mooniemac2000
This is plastic cement that comes in a tube, its bonding is better than non toxic glue. It is very thick, but the tube tends to flow out more glue than what is needed. The glue melts most plastic (except for ABS). Preferably, I would put some on a cardboard piece and then apply the glue with a toothpick.

Still works
By: jc (Missouri)
Hadn't touched this stuff for over 30 years. Still works like it's always did and will make a mess quick if you aren't careful. Toothpicks are your friend when it comes to using this. Just gotta build a couple more low priced models and I should be back in the groove with it.
Hope this is as good as it used to be

I’ve been away from modeling for a few years, and my old testors glue had dried up long ago.
I hope they haven’t changed the formula or anything, because it always worked well in the past.
I’m starting a new kit during this quarantine, so we’ll see how it goes.
40 years
I've been using the orange tube stuff for over 40 years. It works well with large joints and small detail. Precision model work and Testors go hand in hand. Greatest product i have ever used on my plastic models. Holds strong and last a real long time if used correctly.
HATE THIS GLUE
too messy it cant be used on clear parts. and after years of sitting parts just start falling off the car. i will never use this again. the dry time is outrageous and the small is bad. there are alot better glues out there that are fast drying and hold up after time.
I am old and the smell brings me back
By: flipskok
Memory glue. I just wanted to have something to do with my hands while I listen to audio books. I remembered doing models youthwise, but when I opened the glue, the smell triggered some neuron in the brain and I was 13 again for the price of a tube of glue.
Old school is great.
By: nmathews (86005)
By far, this cement is most requested by all modelers. Many older modelers that are starting again think it is gone. There are many choices to make with today's technology but the 'Red Testors' is the best all around glue.
Testor glue performance
This glue is the Same I remember it being in the 80s it works great it holds things great but it sure makes a mess if you’re looking for glued it doesn’t make a mess look towards Tamiya that has been glue that you can barely even see
Testors Glue
fairly good shelf life I been modeling for over 50 years and testors products have a good shelf life. I work on my models when I'm bored or in bad weather, I've only had to replace my glue when I didn't close it correctly
this is the right stuff
this is the only glue i use and if used right it will last a lifetime for finer detail work i use a little on a toothpick or on a q-ti and it works great for not clopping and putting too much in a fine area
Great for models
By: Pres333
I have been using this glue for many years. It is my go to glue for plastic car model kits. It sets up quickly. Just be careful with squeezing the tube, it doesn’t take much for the glue to come out.
like it a lot
By: ryanroderick33
I really have not tried many other gules however I don't know how one can much better than this one, this stuff holds really well and dry's fast the price is outstanding for this quality glue
works great but a lot of waste
By: Felgenhauer98
This stuff has been around for year. Simple squeeze tube. Still works great but tends to get VERY messy and wasteful. I switched to the triangular bottle for more accuracy and less waste.
glue

good glue, use applicator tips as the glue tends to run out and can be messy, it does the job and will hold parts together a good stand by to have on your bench
Excellent adhesive
By: cmiller
Testers glue has stood the test of time. I have structures on my layout that I used tester's to assemble over 20 years ago and are still holding strong.
tircks learned
By: Dan&Tami
I have learned from my first model using this glue to use the plastic tips and toothpicks witch resolved the clumpy stick mess I made of my first model.
Plastic Cement
Testor's Glue is excellent for most plastic model kits. Use sparingly, keep glue off your fingers especially when gluing clear plastic windows.
Well packed and came fast
This company is great to work with. They care about getting the order to you quickly and undamged. They are honest, caring, and professional.
Applicator Tips Useful
When using this cement, purchasing the tiny applicator tubes is helpful and useful. They must be thrown away after each use, so buy a pack.
Oldie but goody

I have been using Testers plastic model cement since the 1970's. I use my wife's sewing needles to place glue where it is needed.

Needed for large builds
By: tgary1934
I try to use tamiya thin liquid cement but for large models this cement works best for a good bond
Better than before
this glue is much more forgiving than when I used it over fifty years ago. is much more workable.
Good cement
Good cement for the price, but applicator is not that handy, not the best glue for precise work.
Good Glue
By: jody_hines

Works extremely well
It is hard as rock when it drys, but I would suggest using a toothpick to apply glue
Great glue
I have used this glue on all of the rockets I have built, and it works very well.
