Reviews : Testors Model Master Mixing Bottle & Pipette Set

Although now out of production, I recommend these as they remind me of the MM paints. Nostalgia should not be a major determining factor in product selection, but solid construction should be. The glass is fairly thick and mine have survived a 36 fall from my bench to concrete floor and bounce but don't break. The pipettes are well, pipettes and get the job done. Had I known Testors was going to cease production I would have bought several more sets. If one can find them through other outlets, I recommend getting them. Have found others to purchase in the online world but these were good for the price.

These are great little jars to keep custom mixes in, or to use for small color runs with easy clean up. The jars are twice the size of the small Testors jars. (Duh: 1/2 oz vs 1/4 oz) The lids seal tightly and they give you small round stickers to label the lids with. I just use a cut down Post It for easy switcharoos. The pipettes are a thin plastic. They work well. I use them for acrylics only for easy cleanup. Have not used them for enamels. I don't think they would clean up as easily, but I could be wrong.

i like to mix my own paint and these are good for that. i use an older testor's mini might airbrush and these jar's fit the spray cap's that i use which is a testor's double action sprayer. all i have to do is mix, stir, and screw on the spray cap and spray. when i finish i just screw on the storage cap, clean airbrush and put the paint away. no more pouring paint from jar to jar. too easy.

Great buy for the price - I use them for making washes and stains. I also use them for custom colors. They store well and I have never had a leak and the also hold small parts like fuel line fittings and return springs. I have purchased this item many time in the past. I would recommend this to all builders.

since i started using airbrushes, mixing paint became necessary and troublesome. these bottles and the pipettes make it easy and handy. they store paint well, also. one of those things that make life easy when you need it. well designed and perform like you'd expect. great product!

Perfect size jars for mixing and storing just a little bit of paint. Seems like I never need to store that much. The package includes five which is a great deal for the price.

They are the same bottles as the model master paints. They're great for mixing custom colors or reducing for airbrush use. Great product at affordable price!

Just what I needed, having to mix paints to come up with a certain color without having to buy it.

This is a great set for mixing paints, these are the standard Model Master Jars, they work well.

Pipette's are cheap and broke easily but the jars are great! Recommended for the jars.

I use these when I have small amounts of paints left over Great for mixing wild colors
