"this thing has flaws"

the kit once done looks good from the top or sides BUT!!! the landing gear are all wrong they fold like most fighters do towards the fuselage, the problem is on real P-40's the gear folds backwards towards the flaps. and to add insult to injury the gear doesn't fit well into the wheel wells they stick out from the wings. my other hassle came when one of the tiny screws flew away you will need these screws to bolt the landing gear in place and the main wing there are no spares. if you tighten the screws too much on the landing gear the screw will try to punch thru the top of the wings leaving discolored plastic. you will need glue to fasten the fuselage halves together otherwise there will be a very large gap in the seams behind the cockpit. hope this was helpful.
