This is a 1/48 Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter Plastic Jet Aircraft Kit.

Prototype Information: Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter The F-5A Freedom Fighter was developed by Northrop in the 1950's as a lightweight supersonic fighter aircraft. Despite outstanding performance for such a small airframe, the F-5 was not purchased in large quantities by the US, but it proved popular on the export market being much cheaper and simpler than other contemporaries such as the F-104 Starfighter and F-4 Phantom.
