Features Torquemasters are slow motion stall motors engineered to stall when the tension of the point rail against the stock rail exceeds the torque of the motor. This means that once the Torquemaster throws the points there's nothing that'll slip through the joint. The throw speed is between 4-5 seconds regardless of the scale modeled.
Torquemasters offer quiet, reliable operation and should be powered by a 12V DC supply (provisions are made for higher voltages). A resistor is added to one lead of the input power, which means that each machine draws approximately 20 milliamps. This means that a 1-amp 12V DC power supply can effectively operate up to 50 switch motors. You can even use the power for your Torquemaster to control your signal aspects and panel lights (operating these accessories will reduce the number Torquemasters used on a 1-amp 12V DC power supply). Torquemaster motors are ideal for N, HO, S, O and G scales. They work great for both standard and narrow gauges alike. Each Torquemaster kit includes all mounting hardware required to successfully install one motor. A DPDT toggle switch is required for operation (sold separately). Related Items
