"Modern Concrete Mixer Truck"
henryk0150
This is a modern concrete mixer truck that in real life can be seen at various construction sites everywhere. Very detailed and and made well It came packaged securely to avoid breakage. I recommend it for any modern layout construction sites

"Walthers quality throughout."
samuraihoghead
I have modeled a small industrial park including a CAT dealership, Meg A Watts transformers, a heavy equipment rental business and a Walthers International truck dealership (933-4025) which is populated with this model and others. True to form this cement mixer looks great and is highly detailed, starting with the tires which are actually rubber, not plastic. Upside down is seen the skid pan under the motor, drive shaft and dual two-speed differentials. The cab interior is highly detailed. The cab exterior has the mirrors in place, door latches are painted black to stand out, there is fine printing of the International name and 7600 model number and the air intake is also black. There are painted turn blinkers and top of cab lights painted just over an exterior sun shade. There is a battery box and fuel tanks, the motor driving the mixer and stowed extensions for the unloading chute. The rear end has fenders, two piece ladder that unfolds to ground level and platform for access to the top of the mixer, a chute for loading the concrete and a chute for pouring. If this is to be a static model the shoot extensions can be affixed to the end of the unloading shoot, which pivots like the prototype. Unfortunately there are no tail lights or brake lights. Being new in a dealership the overly white paint is explainable but if this is to be a part of a construction scene I would imagine it would need to have at least some paint applied. If wanting to paint details on cab interior these models, held together with screws, it is a simple matter to unscrew top and bottom for interior access. The mixer drum spins but that is of no real value. All in all a very nice model with Walthers' quality throughout and so it's recommendable.
