Features :

After raw gas was recovered from the Coke Retorts, it was piped to the Gas Plant for cooling and cleaning. This required several pressurized steel tanks, each handling part of the process. As newer methods of producing and improving the energy output of the gas were introduced, the plant was modernized and larger tanks constructed alongside to handle increased production.
Typical of a modernized operation, the new Gas Plant kit is a realistic blend of old and new. The kit is complete with a large main building featuring excellent brick detailing and older-style arched windows with realistic thin frames. Alongside you'll find a series of steel tanks that give the plant its unique identity.

This is a nice kit. The tanks come with a base to sit on. There is no interior that comes with the kit, but one is sold separately. The brick detail is nice and crisp. The kit goes together easily, and the instructions are easy to follow.

"An excellent project"

An excellent project: after opening the kit to inspect, there was virtually no molding flash, all the parts where straight, and accounted for. The direction was very clear and easy to follow. The building walls are molded with a nice red brick texture and great windows. The main structure of the building did not require any paint, but I add some paint to all the tanks, doors, and roof accessories which took the paint well. I would recommend this kit to anyone for any city scenery.
