Review of Vintage fire escape
Cornerstone instructions contain only numbered blow up images, no step by step assembly instructions. Some pieces are missing numbers on the sprue trees. Be careful during assembly, the bottom escape and ladder are different from the upper structures. Also, due to the high quality of this kit, the pieces are very thin and fragile, use extreme care when removing parts from the sprue trees. Ladders may need to be cut depending on your application. I used two kits to enhance a customized apartment building built from the Townhouse #1 and #2 kits to fill a narrow space I a city layout.
Fire Escape wrr 3729 Look great on the buildings
After adding the fire escape to my rear of my downtown buildings it change the whole look. Rather plane looking before. After adding the fire escapes one painted red and one painted black and attached to the rear and side of the buildings NICE Look so authentic.
Most Excellent Detail
This is a great addition to city buildings. However it takes patience to assemble. Needs no painting to be realistic. This is definitely for the expert modeler. Very fragile parts.
Difficult to assemble
Difficult to assemble due to flimsy parts, but it looked okay once completed.Don't use runny Super Glue it makes a mess.Use gel like glues that bead instead of run.
Perfect
Perfect size for my building. Fairly easy to build. I had to trim the ladder and stairs to fit, but easy to do. I didn't even have to paint it.
adds to building
nice detailed kit makes layout stand out and adds outstanding looks to the building
