WWII Ju88A5 German Bomber (New Tool)

Great kit. Overall fit is great with just a few challenging areas. Upper wings to lower wing center section, lower wing center section to fuselage had small gaps but not bad. Easily filled with CA and Mr Surfacer 500. Engine nacelles were slightly warped and needed to be forced together still leaving gaps. Engine nacelles needed to be force fit to wings. Once again gaps were filled with CA and repeated Mr Surfcaer applications. As a result engine side covers could not be left open to display the detailed engine. Cockpit well detailed although I did use most of the Eduards interior set. HGW belts were also used as the kit does not include belts. Panel lines and other exterior detail is beautifully done. Decals are excellent. Thin, in register and stick almost too good. Be sure to have them positioned correctly as moving them after they touch can be a challenge. The instructions don't tell you but install the dive flaps (C23 & C24) after the model is assembled, painted and decaled. Rudder swastikas are not included or referenced in any way. The under wing crosses go under the dive flaps. Many very fine and fragile parts. The plastic is soft but yet brittle. Many small, thin and fiddly parts. I would not recommend this for beginners. At least intermediate skills are necessary. Don't try to rush it, dry fit everything multiple times. With carefull work, it makes into a beautiful model anyone would be proud of.
