F-16C Night Falcon

This is a 1/72 General-Dynamics (now Lockheed) F-16C Falcon Aircraft Kit.:

The F-16C is the newest version of this outstanding single-seater fighter/ attack aircraft - the F-16D is the equivalent two-seater. The F-16's first flight took place in 1974 and won the U.S. Air Force Lightweight Fighter contest against the YF-17 as a low cost alternative to the F-15 Eagle. The versions with upgraded performance and abilities are currently in service. The F-16 has a single jet engine and comes in both single seat and tandem seat versions. It was also among the first aircraft to feature full fly-by-wire control.:

"Good Quality 1/72 F-16 kit, decals were disappointing"

Fun kit. No major fit issues, managed to put this one together without putty. Lots of options with both single and two seat versions, wheels up or down, and wide number of armament and equipment variations. Decals were poor quality and tore badly, so I ended up hand painting a bunch of the details. Instructions were not super clear but adequate. Either get aftermarket decals or use from another kit, otherwise this is a great model. Excellent subject and kit for beginners like me, there are a ton of reference pics available and the model construction is good.

There is much good about this model the detale is good. There is good detale in the cockpit only lacking a pilot. The inst are for both a/b & c/d verison of the plane the parts fit well and paint chart is good the hard points have good miss and tanks for them. The landing gear can be showen up or down with a little work. Same with the cockpit glass. There are decales for three planes and are easy to place put there are a lot of them. A good plane for all.
