Well this kit is very good but didn't go together as easily as my Italeri shermans did but these are still quite easy i only needed glue on the front tackles and on the left headlight this was the same for both tanks. the turret on this tank comes with options for the short 75mm or the long 75mm I built only the long barrel version not that there is anything wrong with that version I simply already have that version on hand. The turret rotates and the gun elevates but is tricky to get the gun to be still enough to stay elevated. if you can't get it to stay up I would suggest NOT gluing it but instead use vaseline on the inside of the turret around the plastic bar the gun will be mounted to. This will be sticky enough to keep the gun raised and adjustable. other than that all is very well with these tanks . good luck on your build and good hunting playing your wargames.

I have built this kit and have two more to build yet. Detail is good, Turret pin is terrible on these kits, be sure to press pin all the way in, for snapping onto hull. That makes the turrets non removable, (losing the ability to remove turrets for KO tanks on battlefield.) I like the running gear detail on these and other Italeri war game kits. These fast build kits are great for what they are....I wish I had them 25 years ago!!! makes building numbers up affordable. Kit builds two versions , the short barrel and long barreled.

I made a comment on my first purchase of Italeri Priest SPGs that these were superb value for the money and that I would definitely purchase Italeri vehicle kits in the future. I am first and foremost a war-gamer and these Mark IVs are just as good a model compared to more expensive kits which may have more parts and a few extras, such as a turret commander. I would highly recommend this manufacturer for war-gamers who prefer well-constructed vehicles without the complications and details that modelers or dioramists require.
