"root-beer float"
Paul.rider40 (Paul.rider40@gmail.com)
this is a good kit, not much if any flashing, high detail on parts, little tricky to assemble, i suggest reading instructions before building, windshield dont fit right, i filed all 4 ends and sunk it into the a pillars, the windshield frame is a tricky part to assemble, other then that it was a cool kit to build, painted mine candy root-beer with satin almond interior, hence the root-beer float name, it could use a little more detail to the interior, oh yeah i also had to sand some on the edges of the hood sides to allow it to sit flush with the fenders

"Surprisingly wonderful kit"
mirrorgraphite
You hear terrible things about Lindberg kits. This kit must be the exception then, as it is a wonderful kit. Crisp detailed parts with no flash, and almost no mold lines. The fit was excellent. I think I only had problems with one piece. This was the first car model that I have done in 20 years, having just returned to the modelling hobby two years ago. I'm glad I chose this kit for my first car model. I would highly recommend this kit to any modeler.

I had fun putting this model together, every step of the way.when you finish one step you can't wait to start the next.

"37 Custom Ford Convertible - B-day Present for My Better Half"

1937 Custom Ford Convertible I thought I would try to think a little more “outside the box” as to what to get My Better Half for her birthday, so I thought a model car would be a good idea as she has a bit of a thing for older cars. We went to Hobby Lobby and found this kit on sale, and she decided that that was the car she wanted. Sorry HobbyLinc for not getting it via you wonderful folks, but for $7 clearance at Hobby Lobby, it was a no-brainer. This would be my first car model from Lindberg that I completed. OBSERVATIONS: (1) In my opinion the experienced modeler will have little or no trouble reading and understanding the instructions, though the raw rookie might have a few questions. Although I generally found the instructions to this particular car model kit to be easier to read and understand than that of previous car models, I still recommend the would-be modeler – at least the rookie, not-so-proficient sort – read and study the instructions in their entirety before starting painting and assembly as it might save him from an occasional frustration or two… or three… or more… down the road. (2) The parts in general were very well-made with little flash to address. With a couple minor exceptions, I had little or no trouble taking parts off the sprues and assembling them together. The parts fit together very well. With respect to the “exceptions,” I was able to fairly easily guess how the parts were supposed to be placed on the model. (3) Painting with acrylic paint and brush was very straightforward. With a few very minor exceptions, I was even able to safely and neatly attach painted pieces together without even having to scrape paint off the surfaces of parts onto which the glue was to be applied. FINAL ASSESSMENTS: Overall I thought it was a very good kit, my third car kit I completed, a somewhat easier kit for me to complete than my REVEL ‘66 Mustang Shelby or my AMT 51 Chevy Bel Air kits. Whatever frustrations I had experienced doing it, I think can be safely attributed to my relative (I think) inexperience. I would rate the kit five stars out of five.... Oh, before I forget, my wife loved the car.

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
