This kit really has many parts. For example the center console is 5 parts compared to the Revell Dodge Magnum which has 2. This level of parts is throughout the model. Another and very welcome example is the chassis, where all the suspension and heat shields are separate parts. This allows for painting parts individually and yields a more realistic and 3D chassis. The parts are moulded very well and have little to no flashing. It is a modern kit that uses pin and location holes for most parts. Pin fit is exceptional. I did find the bumpers to be fussy and they didn't fit very well. Be sure to glue the bumpers in place before painting. The parts are moulded in white and clear windows. I would have liked a tinted window option as well as the clear. The biggest disappointment is the lack of brakes. The kit has flat hub pieces that fit behind the wheels. The Revell Magnum kit has nice brake disks with calipers. It seems a real shame to not provide brake parts on a vehicle with large 5 spoke rims that allow for viewing past the wheel. This kit was a joy to build and I have since purchased the police version. Why only 4 stars? Parts fit on the bumpers and lack of brake disk/calipers.
Build notes: 1) The radiator, engine, and transmission are 3 separate build components that are fitted to the chassis. I found the engine sat too far forward. It pushed the radiator forward and didn't connect to the transmission. The engine mounts will have to enlarged to move the engine backward. 2) The decal sheet has left and right Bees that are placed between the front wheel arch and the front door. The instruction and decal sheet does not indicate that these decals are different. I assume they were not mirrored and lucked out after placing the first bee. Just make sure your Bees are pointed forward.
