Some Warpage

This kit suffered from some warpage issues. I needed to use hot water to try to straighten out the fuselage. Detail is minimal but you can add some and if you take your time, a decent representation can be built more-or-less straight from the box.

Lindberg Do-17Z

I first build one of these back around 1970, and being as the cat destroyed that one, I finally bought another. This is the plane to buy if you want to buy American, as there are few US made models out there. It is a nice, easy build plane with a choice of decals. The box says four crewmen included, but they are all just sitting like ducks in a row. The box artwork shows the plane with defensive machineguns but none or included, nor are there any bombs. But it is a nice model. Sentimental reasons bumped this up to four stars.

Package arrived in relatively good shape, and in a timely fashion. The shipping box was almost half again longer than the model kit. The shipping box was bent substantially just past the middle of the box. The model kit was slightly compressed, but no damage. Iâ€™m very satisfied with the quality of the model kit. Good old fashion Lindberg ! And, made in the U.S.A. , Today was a summer day back in 1963 all over again !
