Gouda Man Of War ship. Reviewed instrucions. Was supprised paint call outs did not match box art.

I recieved the Gouda and opened it at once. Arrived in pristine condition as this is what I have come to expect from this site. I always go through instruction sheet to plan out the color scheme. I was supprised paint call outs did not match box art. Will paint per instructions. Looks like this will be a walk in the park after doing Lindbergs model of the Sea Witch.

Expect a lot of custom fitting

Like the other reviewer said, the coloring in the instruction sheet is different, or often time lacking, compared to the box art. The molds are very old so expect a lot of improper fitting pieces, filing down, or gaps to be filled. Even for $15 the model was a chore to get through.

Good learning model

I found that this ship was some what challenging due to the step by step instructions and the not so clear rigging layout. I found that some of the building steps make it harder to handle the model while putting it together. This is a good learning model.
