Claire Modern Pin-Up Girl

I originally purchased this model for display with a Tamiya LaFerrari I'm building. The LaFerrari is a work in progress but I've finished this model. I've attached some pictures where I display it with a 1/24 scale diecast I had and it matches up well. First a comment about my rating if this had been a 50 resin kit (it's plastic) I would have rated it average or just below. The fact that it's a 1/24 scale figure for 12 bucks ups the rating a bit to a good score. When you get the kit you will see from the instructions that the model does not quite match the box art but it's fairly close. The plastic is also not the smoothest, it almost has a 3D printed texture but I believe it's molded as I had some mold lines to remove. It looks good from a normal viewing distance but up close you can see what I mean. Not horrible and acceptable for the price. Construction is straightforward but I recommend using Tamiya thin glue as it helps with the mold lines. I still had to use a bit of putty here and there to help remove some seams. This is a fairly simple model to paint without a lot of accessories to address. The face has good detail and this helped with painting, making it easier to see the eyes and mouth. Should you get this model? A couple things, this was the only model I could find that is posed to look like it's entering/exiting a vehicle. If you take a look at the pictures I've posted you can judge the aesthetic for yourself to see if the look is what you want. Again I keep coming back to the value - decent 1/24 scale figures are hard to find in this price range. If the quality fits your diorama needs and you're willing to put in a bit of extra work, I would give this kit a shot.
