Merkava Mk IIID (Early) Israeli MBT

I will admit I am a Merkava fan. I have several kits from different manufacturers, but this is my favorite. It is pretty accurate, and the fit was excellent. Instructions are good and decals worked well. The kit is very detailed. The distinct Chains hanging from the rear are RPG protection. Some kits have metal ball and chain sets, and there are a couple of aftermarket PE sets available. But for this kit, they are not needed. They are plastic, and actually look really nice. I did add the Legend rear baskets and turret baskets, but the kits parts really aren't bad. Fit was excellent. The track is tedious, and I ended up stealing a rubber band set from a Tamiya kit. Highly recommended.
