"poor kit"

I was excited about this model because of the relative obscurity of the plane and the simpleness of the paint schemes. Unfortunately this model has a very poor overall fit, with many parts not fitting. Minicraft kits have engines that generally do not fit well, the fuselage had gaps, the wings fit poorly onto the fuselage, and the tail. don't spend money on this

"Disappointed"
sboreczky
I was excited to add this plane to my collection, but ended up very disappointed. The overall fit was terrible. If you want this plane, be prepared to add plenty of filler. The entire nose is clear which you have to put together. The painting was not a problem but again the fit did not meet flush to the fuselage. The wing tabs were not deep enough to hold them in tight to the fuselage. It does have the parts to build an earlier version, which I did. The instructions do not cover this, so I relied on one of my WWII Aircraft books.

Markings

  • One decal sheet with markings for 2 versions
  • 1) RCAF, Operational Trainer, 1948.
  • 2) US Navy, Unit Unknown, 1945.

Comments

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
