model rocket booster engine
A model rocket booster engine is the first stage rocket engine in a multi-stage model rocket. This engine's purpose is to boost the rocket and then ignite the second stage engine.
As such, a booster engines does not have an ejection charge. Instead it has a burning charge that will ignite the next stage's engine. Booster engines will have a time delay of 0 (zero) between the engine burnout and ignition of the ignition charge.
