1964-1/2 Mustang Convertible

I've build a lot of these older model sport/muscle cars. This mustang convertible is definitely in the lower 10%. I liked the engines and wheels, they looked great and fit well. However, you better carefully pre-fit the rest of this model; the frame, shock absorbers, and side mirror was not even a close fit. Overall, if you are looking to build a Convertible, there are better one out there, like the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C.

I'm very happy with this model kit. Everything went together nicely and is an accurate representation of a 64-1/2 - 65 Mustang, and was fairly easy to build. Another written review mentioned issues with part fitment and body-to-frame alignment. That does not reflect my experience with this kit, and I have built 2 different ones because I liked the original build so much I wanted to build a souped-up version. Keep in mind, the parts included in this kit are for a factory car...if you want a custom one, you'll need to bring in parts from another kit (I brought over a High Performance 289 from a GT350, the hood from the GT350, and torque thrust wheels). No Mustang collection is complete without the first year!
