"A very fun build"

A very fun build as the possibilities are endless with the convertible/ pickup option. It you lower the suspension the engine will not glue in and the hood will not close. A lot of trouble as you have to modify multiple parts or hot knife the carbs height.

"Retro caught my eye"
Del (wine country)
I have been building model kits for some time now, and i remember cars like this driving on the street all the time. Of course the stock version of this kit! When i see a kit like this on the shelf, i quickly snatch it from the grips of the shelf and place it in my shopping basket. For me, model kits that are retro, ones that have options on how to build it and that are at a skill level 3 or higher.....are the ones for me. The '70 Bonneville Convertible/Pickup was a step back in time for me. I built the pickup version, and boy was it fun. I had to cut away the entire trunk portion. I then had to do some pretty good body work for everything to fit just right. I will buy the same kit again and build it in the stock version. I'm looking forward to this real soon.
