Tan Camouflage Netting

Wonderfully made, but very little of it unfortunately, has a nice loose gauze texture and died medium tan. Can be utilized anyway you wish, I have not opened mine yet. Have some nice ideas, Like using it as a back cover over a cargo truck. And gluing some pre-painted small details to the netting. There seems to be enough netting to do one big vehicle project with some left over.

This is another nice little thing. After assembling, painting, weathering, there is a need to hide our models from prying eyes. Camouflage has been important in war since before that big Wooden Horse. The netting as it comes is plain jane brown. This leads to a bit of coloring. My next nets will feature some more subdued colors. I also cut mine into pieces. Any large tarp, covering is heavy, bulky, and hard to deal with. Individual pieces will be in my areas. First off, I tries to tie dye this. I gathered a bit of area and pinched it off with a bread tie, dipped it in a color. This was repeated. I first tied off a number of areas, dipped each in a color, untied and with my digits, smeared the color around. That is why it looks the way it does. My next net, I will incorporate a series of folds to color it.

I bought this item to include in an Afrika Korp diorama I'm building. Very well made and can be manipulated easily into any shape you need. I will have it cover a German 88mm anti tank gun emplacement. Use your Imagination with this one for great results.
