This kit requires a great deal of cut with a hobby knife and razor saw. Also, requires a good deal of skill to glue the wall sections together. Would only recommend this to experienced modelers.
The Modern Steel Fabrication Warehouse is a must have for any layout. This particular kit is molded in gray and white and includes 1 steel roll up door, 2 personnel doors, and 4 windows. Also included are 8 down spouts, 4 roof reinforcement pieces, and an information page. The molded details are nice and clear and the kit is ready to assemble. I recommend a hobby knife to trim off the flash and a sanding block or nail file to square up the edges.
These kits can be assembled in a multitude of possibilities in addition to the pictured product. Assembly is straightforward; in fact, the instruction sheet is actually prototype and design info. From the included pictures you can see I assembled the walls together creating a 22 inch long building. When doing this its best to reinforce the building as its quite flimsy. I used a piece of 1x2 clear pine and some leftover .080 styrene.
I would’ve liked this kit to have had a few more doors and windows, and to have also included a piece of clear plastic for window glass.
Measures 20 scale ft tall at roof peak in HO scale (Approx. 2.5 inches).
