I never dreamed how tiny the birds would be, they are perfect for my layout.

they are very small, but add alot of detail wherever you place them, just don't drop!hard to find in carpet

This is a very cool kit. I used some gulls on a diorama of a ship on a beach and some other birds on my model railroad. One great way to display them is to mount them just beside a tree trunk or limb with only the wing tip touching the tree. At some angles, it really looks like the bird's flying! Painting quality is unbelievable on these small models. Great work Preiser.

"Quality and detail can't be beat!"

The quality and detail of Preiser HO figures can not be beat and this set of birds is a perfect example. The pair of Red Tailed Hawk and the Eagle are my favorites in this set ( followed closely by the Gulls ). The Pigeon and Dove are TINY in HO scale yet no less detailed - including their little orange beaks! For the birds in flight try using plastic model cement to glue a length of 7# test clear monofilament fishing line to the underside of the wing. Once dry feed the tag end of the line into the foliage of a tree, tack it where you want it with Multi-Bond, CA or similar and trim the excess line.
