Prototype Information; Boeing B-29A Superfortress Heavily armed, 4-engine daylight heavy bomber The B-29A was the largest allied bomber to serve in WWII and flew mostly on missions in the Pacific due to its long range and large payload. The B-29's featured remotely operated gun turrets for defense. The most famous B-29 missions are the two by the Enola Gay and Bock's Car to drop the first atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
