Based on MO Tower, the prototype of this kit served the Pennsylvania Railroad at Creston, Pennsylvania, and similar towers were found all along the railroad. In service from 1899 until 1994, arrangements were made to preserve MO, but it collapsed w hile being moved off railroad property and was sadly demolished in December, 1998. Working from the original 1899 plans as well as photos and sketches, the finished model depicts the tower as it appeared from the 1940s to the end.
