Features: * This kit is based on a standard CB&Q Depot design, built in 1886 at Trenton, Nebraska. Although the prototype is in disrepair, it still sports its original stamped steel shingle roof. * Two-story depots like this were found in many small railroad towns where housing was difficult to come by. As a fringe benefit, the station agent and his family (married men were preferred as they were less likely to quit) lived upstairs and a private outside entrance was provided to the second floor.
