Built sometime in the late 1930s or early 40s, the prototype was served by trucks and used to load box cars with high-grade ore, which required more protection in transit. Features: One of the most common buildings along any right-of-way are small toolsheds. Generations of maintenance and track crews used these handy buildings to store all kinds of tools and supplies, as well as track inspection cars. This kit represents a prefabricated steel design, used system-wide on the Rio Grande starting around 1940. (The prototype is at Pando, Colorado.) Still in use today, its styling is typical of similar buildings used on many roads. The kit features detailed plastic parts and the large doors can be built in the open or closed position.

Features: * According to local legend, "No Problem Joe" was a Mr. Fixit in the town of Aspen, Colorado, who frequently was called in to fix ski lifts during the peak season. Big or small, he'd assure the customer awaiting repairs that the job was "no problem, Joe!" Gomez General Merchandise store in Pagosa Junction, Colorado which was built in 1910, and recently moved to nearby Pagosa Springs for preservation. The building is typical of general stores found throughout the United States, and fits nicely in any small town scene.
