"Good Value and Easy to Build"
CLE
For the price of this model and the amount of detail it provides, it is well worth the price. I really enjoyed building the kit and did not have any difficulties with part fitment or flashing. Excellent addition to anyone's collection.

"fuslage parts crude for the money, instructions absurd; nice result"
jctoymaker
I had bad first impressions of this kit. knowing Revell. I took the fuselage halves out and trial fit them from the nose. There was warping of 15 degrees or more on all three axes. then I looked over the instructions. They brought back historical memories of WWII. The print of the intro instructions and info were small enough to be taken directly from microfilm. The German Revell people in their hereditary fastidiousness, called for eighteen (yes eighteen colors of paint plus the mixing for the four others; six colors alone for ach action figure! There were anough paint flags to be in the UN. That is just nuts in staring to build the kit I found the fuselage halves pliable enough to get the proper alignment ( given German Revell's thinness of molding, better than domestic Revell; but it took a large amount of putty and sanding to fit the top cockpit fuselage section (I used the radar equipped version part) to make it fit. What a pain. However the rest of the kit fit together well, with decent detail. The engines could have been better and more completer, given the price of the kit. however, the results were satisfying; What a wild looking aircraft! It is really unique in the history of flight. As for coloring, there is a few good pictures on the internet for camouflage patterns. it ended n up being a kit worth the money and the time; but it should have been much better.

"Good kit for a unique aircraft."

This was a decent kit. The instructions were well organized. The kit itself does have some minor fit issues. I had no warping but there was some minor gaps at the wing roots and where the wing assembly joins the fuselage. Surprisingly the canopy fit very well. The cockpit has good detail. Assembly went well and the decals were very good. They are thin and went on easily allowing the details under them to show through. The decals for the open engine cover side are split very well. The only two things that have issues would be the pitot tube is very thick, (I replaced it with a brass one.) and the tires are molded to look like they have the weight of the plane but they look more like low air pressure. They are really fat/wide. I would recommend getting a nice resin set. I used the kit ones. They don't too bad from the side at a distance. Overall the kit is decent and does look nice once built.
