"Small Parts - Fit Well"

This model is discounted on several websites, and was my first 1/700 scale attempt. With a pair of tweezers, I was able to make this over the course of several evenings. Using blue shades in addition to a grey all-coat made the ship look polished as a final project. Have a small brush handy.

"Awesome starter kit"

This is a awesome kit. This was my first ( minus the snap together kits ) kit I have built. It's easy to any extent. The 5 inch guns can be hard for beginners and the 20 mm can be very hard but in the end it isn't that bad. I have bought a few to make the U.S.S. Herrman , the U.S.S. Hoel and the U.S.S. Jonhston to recreate Taffy 3 in the battle of Leyte Gulf. I'm a assistant tour guide at a pubilc open world war 2 model exhibit in Rockville Center on Long Island so I rate this a museum quality piece. Good luck Spencer
