This is really a toy that can be assembled in 5-7 minutes. The wheels even roll so kids can play with it. However, it can be a nice model with a little extra work. I buy the cheaper snap kits to practice painting and try out new ideas. I like the way the paint turned out on this one. I used an offset racing stripe like was used on some race cars back in the 1960s. The stripe is painted, not a decal. Before painting these colored plastic kits, be sure to use a good primer to prevent the plastic color from bleeding thru the paint. I used Krylon black primer. The headlights in the kit are just painted silver. I scraped the silver off of the clear plastic, printed a copy of what the real lights looked like and glued the paper to the inside of the clear lens.

Love these snap kits from revell they are always nice and these are definitely no exception other than snap kits not having engines they are really really good they’re fun to build and you can customize them any way you want the nicest part about these kits is there usually less than 15$ so there very cheap and I love taking parts from them like tires rims etc there also nice if you want to test colors and weatherization and all sorts of other stuff without spending a fortune in order to do that i use these all the time to try new colors customization options and weathering and much more PROS: cheap, easy to build, fun to build, great for learning new things, great detail for little money, really strong plastic CONS: NO engine if you wanna get one of these snap kits then get it they are so great for so many things and I use and buy them all the time to learn more and expand my modelling skills
