"Nicely detailed and fun build"

The monogram/revell line of models are always top notch in my opinion. They have very clear instructions and very little casting flash. The details on things like the engine components and the interior are some of the best I've come across. The kit goes together very easily and I didn't have any fitment issues. The decals were the only thing i really had an issue with. The thin long stripe down the side wanted to curve and almost broke a few times. Other then that, I really enjoyed this build. Recommend to anyone.

"Most excellent kit!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Not one issue with this kit. I can not say when I had this great of a kit, well detailed, great fitting parts, and not a lot of excess flashing. Built this for a friend that has his own automotive shop, his dream car. I gotta get a couple of more for me.

"good older kit with interesting decals"

This is a very nice older kit with good detail. The body to chassis fit is very tight and care must be taken not to break anything when putting them together. It comes with very good quality decals in black and white so you will have left-overs to put on another model.

"Good kit. Quick build."

I like the kit. Nicely molded parts. A lot of detail on most visible surfaces. Some hidden surfaces have no detail at all. Placing exhaust headers is a challenge. Attach points of rear shocks to leaf springs is smallish. Interior is an easy assembly. Body to chassis assembly very tight. A few tips. Watch for interference between the distributor & coil and the firewall. Be careful when spreading lower fender panels to fit the chassis. And don't repeat my mistake of gluing in the rear lower panel until chassis is completed and installed. There's a known fit issue of the air cleaner and hood, which I experienced. I'm still debating on the best way to fix it. The instructions are good. Most of the decals are good. Recommend trimming the gauge decals as close as possible. I liked the recommended painting scheme. I used a spray can of Testors Custom Metallic Green, but suffered with its splotchy inconsistency. For me this kit is a solid 4 stars, losing a star because of the fit uncertainty brought about by the headers and the odd non-fit of the hood with the completed engine. My research led to learning about Don Yenko, the Yenko COPO cars and the L72 427, another part of the history of American muscle cars of the late 1960s, so swamped by Shelby Cobras & Mustangs - not that that's a bad thing.
