"Wasn't that good when it was originally released in the '60s"
jimmbbo
Originally released as an Aurora kit in the '60s, the kit suffers from some shape and outline issues, but looks like an A7 from a distance when it is done... An OK kit for the money, but for a more accurate model with better detail and fit, I'd spend a few bucks more and get a later release from another manufacturer.

"Served a good purpose"

It was as expected for the price. Kinda cheap, moderate fit problems with landing gear and doors and you have to be creative to figure it out.But that is part of the fun. I used this for my first model as I have been away for many years. It was just what I needed to experiment with techniques from painting to weathering to putty. The end result is still a fine A-7 ( as long as you dont get too close.Strongly reccomend as a first or 2nd model to refine skills before advancing.

"Good kit for an inexpensive price."

This kit has a good fit and some details. The decals are basic. Recommend using an aftermarket set. The cockpit has average details but with a little bit of added details it can look good.

It is a OK model kit. It can be better. the parts are very easy to misplace because it just detached itself. and the edges are very rough but overall it is OK if you like the style of A-7A plane.
