"Nice Kit"

Easy kit to build and plenty of room inside to add LED lights and fiber optics if you want to light this kit. Only thing you have to be careful with is running the electrical wires down the landing gears to connect it to the battery power supply. Painted and weathered the kit. Then used 2 SMD 0603 for front landing light and used 2 SMD 1205 for wing landing gears. Added 1 flickering orange 5mm for the engine. Used 1 RBG LED 3mm for the radar in the cockpit. Also used 1 steady-on 3mm and 2 flickering 3mm connected to fiber optics for - instrument panel lights, L & R wing signal lights, tail light, top, and bottom signal lights. Then ran magnetic wire down 1 landing gear to the bottom of the diorama to battery box 2- AA (Pictures added)

"F-105D ThunderStick II"

Although a re-issue of Revell's F-105 Thunderchief, this kit still offers a lot of model for little money. Though it has raised panel lines, which is the fare of all of Revell's century series fighters the model still builds into a large imposing looking aircraft. Cockpit detail is good and will be even better with the PE cockpit set offered by Eduard and there are numerous resin seats available. Wheel well and landing gear detail are nice. The decal sheet is good. If you choose there are multidues of aftermarket decal shhets out there. The model goes together well and is easy to build, much easier than the much more expensive Hobby Boss F-105D. It is good to see this kit avabiale again, I wish Revell would re-issue the 2 seat F or G model again. Again I would recommend this kit.

I am impressed by this kit. It is low price, good quality and very big for the scale just like a real F105 was. I always to build an F105 because the bomb load was so impressive and it played such an important role in Vietnam bombing communist missile sights and giving support to ground troops. Now I finally get the chance.
