"Revell F-102 at 1/48 scale"

Very good model. Strong plastic, parts fit together well, some trimming of parts. Nice color scheme and decals go on great. Only drawback is the instructions, some areas require a bit of head scratching (as if drawn by an engineering dropout). The model is large but displays well with other 1/48 scale aircraft (F-14, F-105, F-101. F-15, etc). Good buy and fun to build.

This kit turns out to be a large plane when completed. Great detail, but the instructions are kinda vague when it comes to building the kit. The landing gear had me guessing a bit, I did some research to get it right. I didn’t have to use putty for this one. Also, some colors, especially the red color can be off; so make sure to do your research. The decals are great and conform to the model well. In all, I would recommend this model to those who want to add to their Century Series collection or just want one because of its cool shape and importance to the Cold War.
