"Good kit for an inexpensive price."
davezz4 (Schaumburg, IL)
I bought this to hang from the ceiling. While the cockpit lacks detail and the kit is basic, The fit was surprisingly good. I did not build the wings with the fold option and I glued the landing gear up to reduce the gaps. The decal are very good. They are thin enough to allow the raised detail of the kit to show without air bubbles or gaps. This makes a good beginners kit or a good kit for someone who enjoys adding details from scratch. I added some details to the cockpit, made clear navigation lights, and used resin wheels to add to the realism. I would recommend this kit as I enjoyed building it.

"Great Kit"
pgnd3r (Saint Marys, PA)
This was one of the best models I have done so far. Very easy to put together and really turned out great. Love the way it looks. Now, for the landing gear and folding wings, BE PATIENT! It took me a little bit of messing around but I finally got it. It was looking like I was just going to glue them in place and be done with it, but I kept at it and they work great so glad I stuck with it. Everything fits well into place but did have to fiddle around a bit with the tail hook and it works perfect. As for the cockpit detail, I do wish it was better but you really can't see it anyway with the canopy attached and the pilot in place. The decals were the easiest of any model yet and they look good too. You will be pleased with this one for sure.

I built ir first in 1958 as a Monogram kit and was surprised by the detail of the folding wings and landing gear. The kit was probably state of the art for the time. it isn't any more, to say the least. almost no cockpit detail at all, no engine bay, etc. The fit was good for so old a kit, though;. good choice of decals from historical perspective. it is a perfect kit for a young beginner; for myself I just finished an eduard F-190, a vey detailed and demanding kit, and have an Alateri Stuka in line next, and found the simplicity of this kit a nice break.
