S'Cool Bus Dragster

I remember this kit when it first came out looooonnnnngggg ago. Seemed kinda goofy back then, but what's a kid know! Now decades later, kids all grown up, wifey pushes one of these up and down several times a day, w/55 other souls onboard, thought I'd take another look at this kit. I went ,I saw, I bought! Then ...I built! A really cool kit!! Only painting I did was on the main frame, and the black on the fenders, and headers. the rest I just clear coated. Really had a hard time installing the windows, not because it was difficult, but because I couldn't stop cracking up whenever I looked at 'em for proper orientation!! Engine detail was kinda sparse so with the flip up body, I hadda' add fuel lines and plug wires. That helped detail things a lot, and was easy considering the larger size of the kit.I really liked the wrinkled sidewalls on the slicks!! Out back I added the saftey pin flags to the drag chutes,(Remove Before Flight) and I finished off by marking the lights red w/sharpie perm. marker, and turn signal amber where applicable. This kit will build a respectable model right out of the box even without the extra detail I added, making it ideal for the novice, experienced or senior modelers will like it for the possibilities to improve upon it.
