Back in the 1990s, AMT re-released their Imperial Star Destroyer kit, which at the time, I thought looked pretty good. This new kit from Revell blows the old vintage kit out of the water in terms of accuracy. There's just no comparison. My complaint about the new kit is that it really doubles as a toy. There is an unnecessary lights and sounds component which drives the price up but makes the assembled kit feel silly. There's a reason the ads feature an 8-year-old slapping it together in no time flat.

Arrived super fast. One of the best models I've ever purchased. Super easy to put together! If you're new to models, and love Star Wars, best model to start with.
