German Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind Tank

As always I was impressed by the kit, Tamiya provides great quality model with the usual excellent fit of parts for a fair price. It is not a new kit but still it is very nice one to add to your stash. I would recommend it to more professional builders and also to the beginners. Inside the box are the kit itself and four plastic figures. As usually Tamiya goes with the rubber tracks which are very simple to construct but their detail level is not that great. The flakpanzer itself build to a quite a nice model with one exception. The four flak guns are made of plastic and have very minimal detail, if you want the finished model to look a little better I would recommend to get new flak guns. Another great thing that Tamiya included in this model are the poly caps. They allow you to easily take off the driving wheels for painting, and there is no need in gluing them to the tank. Otherwise, the fit is excellent as I said earlier, the finished model looks great especially with the tools and some of the accessories like rifles and ammo Tamiya included. The detailing of the kit is good. Builds very easily and fast (took me about 8 hours). The flakpanzer can be a great idea for your next project or diorama. I think this kit is worth the money.
