Real nice kit

Tamiya's 1/48 M4 Sherman is a really nice kit to build. Parts fit great and nice decales. the lack of the usual Tamiya extras. like tarps and packs. Are a big disappointment. I really liked the multi-piece tracks. Although the beginner may have a problem with them. Overall this a good kit and worth building. Still waiting for the M4A3.

I am 84.5 % sure this is the kit on our shelf I am looking at right now. Built by my son in ?2005,tweeked by dad,a solid '70-'80s tamiya model. It seems to lack something but that might be our build.Otherwise solid Tamiya from that era.

Good Tamiya Quality Tank

This kit is relatively easy to build, has a nice solid metal hull. The turret rotates and the main gun moves up and down. There is a moderate amount of surface detail. Molding quality is excellent - typical Tamiya. Wheels and tracks do not move. Smaller than the 1:35 scale versions.
