"Good economy brushes."
Good brushes for a cheap price. Cover well and no bristle loss. Will last a long time if you keep them clean.

"Testors Paint Brushes"
Jesus Loves You - John 3:16, Isaiah 53 (ariel.vancleve@gmail.com)
Testors Paint Brushes are very good quality paint brushes. I use them on practically all of my models. Make sure though that when you finish painting with them, you immediately and thoroughly rinse them with paint thinner. (That is if you are using enamel paint.) Overall, I have virtually no complaints with these paint brushes. I would HIGHLY recommend these paint brushes to all modelers. (Note: This set has three paint brushes. One's tip is small, one is medium, and one is large in size. If you prefer to have two smaller paint brushes, you can trim the medium sized one with scissors. There is another similar set by Testors that has two medium sized brushes and one small sized brush.)

"Basic set of brushes good for painting large areas"
This is a basic set of brushes good for painting large areas. These brushes are included in many Testors paint sets. I mostly use the pointed brush since it is also angled. These are not good for detailing so you need to get a set of ultra fine brushes for that.

handy little set of brushes for the smaller parts. Cheap enough to toss and buy more of

  • With care these brushes can last for years.
  • Use Testors 1148 or 1156 Thinner/Brush Cleaner to clean the brush, then wash in lukewarm water and mild face soap, and finally rinse
  • in clear water. Store with bristles up in an open air container.
