Trumpeter's CJ-6 is a basic kit that any modeler can tackle and enjoy. The box art does not do justice to the aircraft - not that the plane is the most beautiful ever made, but that it is more interesting than the artwork suggests. The kit has relatively few parts (no photo-etched) and was a quick build. The instructions are adequate, as is the painting and decal guide. There are two paining schemes - one olive drab over light blue, the other medium Russian green over light blue. I would recommend this kit. It was a fun, no-nonsense build and turned out rather nice.
