I bought three trumpeter 1/144 kits from hobbylinc and this SU34 is by far the bigger of the kits. I said the other kits could be for a nephew or grandson this christmas(stocking stuffer) not this one because it's more complex. Perfect for a adult to detail up. Best deal of the three I bought. This plane is a very misfitting nightmare. The plane is pretty detailed but is massive let down by the fit of the parts. the gaps in the wings and landing gear doors are massive and require a lot of puddy to fill. The landing gear is SUPPOSED to be optional up or down but really demands to be down position as the doors don't fit closed without a lot of shaving the doors to fit especially the nose wheel doors. The decals try to stick well the detailing in the plastic leaves too many air bubbles. The only good thing was the weapons mounted surprisingly easy and had 4 types of missile a three of laser guided bombs. This in my humble opion doe not make up for the massive let down of a cool looking plane.

Excellent detail for such an inexpensive model. Panel lines on plastic parts are crisp and clean. Rather impressive size for a 1/144 scale fighter model. Shows just how much larger SU-27 Flanker derivatives are compared to F-15 Eagles.
