The M36 Jackson was a WWII Tank destroyer, it combined the M4 Sherman's reliable chassis and a massive new turret mounting the 90 mm gun M3. As with many TDs the turret has to be open in the top.
The UM kit is composed of seven pine green plastic moulds with 224 parts and a PE set. The building instructions are somewhat confusing. Decals not great but not bad.
The spraying of the components is fine but not great. Nevertheless, there are beautiful details. The tank tray is made up of five large components. The chassis is, as with the original, quite complicated. This is also where most of the components are installed. The tracks consists of individual links and segments. These are well detailed from both sides.
Conclusion: Being a 1/72 kit means its a small one with a lot of small parts so is more for the advanced model maker, and its at a reasonable price. With care and a lot of effort, a beautiful model can be created here.
