Big enough to look right, small enough to fit steam- or diesel-era layouts, this HO Scale Car Shop is packed with features. Detailed brick work, authentic saw-tooth style roof with skylights, separate windows, roll-up doors, openings in the floor for rail, everything right down to the decals, is included. Four Brothers Journey (Pickerington Ohio)

I love the details Walters put in there models. This a great piece to detail. I added a overhead Crane kit. Added A electric Welder . Going to add indoor led lighting small amount to add to the flash of the crew welders I would only recommend to Walthers to be a little better on there directions.

"The Windows Are A Hassle!"

The kit goes together really well and looks great when done but painting the mullions on all the windows is a real pain and nearly impossible to do neatly! The raised detail on the clear plastic that represents the mullions is uneven so if you use the erasure method or touching them to a flat painted surface, the paint smears and gets onto the clear window sections. I gave up and created the mullion detail in Photoshop. Then, I printed them out on clear acetate (available at any office supply store) with my color laser printer. They looked MUCH crisper and the acetate is thin so the windows look more like prototype glass. The acetate is expensive but I think it is worth it. I use it for almost all my scale windows.
