Wood Water Tank - Built-ups - Assembled - Yellow Ochre

Instant water tank! This is a great looking model right out of the box. I have two of these tanks. One is at an engine service facility the other, a kit is at an intermediate coaling station, both used with the coaling tower Model Power 410 (which I recommend) with Walthers Golden Valley Freight House WRR 3533 (which I recommend) at the intermediate stop, along with the Golden Valley Depot (which I recommend but is apparently out of stock here). The spout is operational with counterweights installed, so be very careful when lowering the spout the first time. The weight's string and string for the spout can get tangled in shipping like my built-up did. I did some SP-izing to it with painting the roof the proper color of weathered green for the built up (it's grey out of the box) and kit. The legs are not quite SP brown on the built-up, more like a dark olive but the difference is negligible unless you‘re a couple of inches from it. I did paint them with the kit. The concrete footers should be painted. I’ve not yet found a down side to this built-up model which makes it an excellent buy in my book.
