I use Woodland Scenics Clump Foliage in various colors for a variety of scenic applications. While it's perfect as clump foliage you can tear / chop it into smaller bits and apply to tree armatures one bit at a time for super realism. It is also perfect for bushes and shrubs. Small bits can be used for lichen or strung along a bead of glue for realistic vines.
