The handle is solid, meaning it does not swivel so you can have that nice big handle in your palm and turn the pin vise with your fingers. I do like the handle in my palm it fits just right. It also has a nice grip on the drill bits and changing out the collet is easy. which I knew before the purchase that it did not swivel in your hand.
